By accessing or using 6D Foraging Methodology™ ("the Service"), including the documentation site, analysis frameworks, and associated tools, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms").

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service ​

6D Foraging Methodology™ is an open-source business impact analysis framework that provides:

  • Documentation Site: Educational content about observable properties, cascade pathways, and impact scoring
  • Analytical Framework: Six-dimensional impact measurement (Customer, Employee, Revenue, Regulatory, Quality, Operational)
  • 3D Lens: Cormorant Foraging integration (Sound × Space × Time)
  • Case Studies: Real-world examples of cascade multiplication and unmeasured costs

The Service is provided free of charge for business, educational, and research use.

3. License and Use Rights ​

Open Source License ​

6D Impact tools and frameworks are released under the MIT License. You are free to:

  • Use the framework for any purpose
  • Modify the methodology
  • Distribute copies
  • Create derivative works

Acceptable Use ​

You agree to use 6D Impact:

  • ✅ For business impact analysis and optimization
  • ✅ For educational and training purposes
  • ✅ For research and validation
  • ✅ In good faith to improve organizational outcomes

You agree NOT to use 6D Impact:

  • ❌ To justify unethical business practices
  • ❌ To manipulate financial reporting fraudulently
  • ❌ To harm employees, customers, or stakeholders
  • ❌ For any illegal activities

4. No Warranties ​

6D Foraging Methodology™ is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

We do not guarantee:

  • Accuracy of impact analysis or cost calculations
  • Predictive accuracy of cascade pathways
  • Availability or uptime of the Service
  • Compatibility with your business systems or processes
  • That the framework will be error-free or comprehensive

5. Limitation of Liability ​

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • 6D Impact and its contributors are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service
  • This includes (but is not limited to): incorrect analysis, poor business decisions, lost revenue, or operational issues
  • Your use of 6D Impact is at your sole risk

Business Strategy Disclaimer: We are not responsible for business outcomes resulting from 6D Impact analysis. Business decisions, strategy, and execution are your responsibility.

6. Third-Party Services ​

If you integrate 6D Impact with business intelligence tools, analytics platforms, or AI assistants, you must comply with their respective terms of service.

6D Impact is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any business software platform, consulting firm, or analytics provider.

7. User-Generated Content ​

If you contribute to 6D Impact (via GitHub, pull requests, issues, discussions):

  • You grant 6D Impact a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, and distribute your contributions under the MIT License
  • You represent that you have the right to grant this license
  • You agree to the GitHub Terms of Service

8. Privacy ​

Your privacy is important. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we handle information.

Summary: We don't collect personal data. Analysis frameworks run in your environment. Your data never leaves your systems.

9. Modifications to Terms ​

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.

Significant changes will be announced via:

  • GitHub repository announcements

Continued use of 6D Impact after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Termination ​

11. Governing Law ​

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario, Canada.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.

13. Entire Agreement ​

These Terms, along with the Privacy Policy and Disclaimer, constitute the entire agreement between you and 6D Foraging Methodology™.
